Oops!
I'd like to apologize to all of my adoring fans. Things have been a *****aotic around this household the past few weeks and I have not purposely made myself scarce but have been just the same.
I did have a few weeks of not feeling so hot. I had major issues with my period...which I haven't had since my endometrial ablasia almost 2 years ago...so that kicked my ass, for sure. It really took a toll on me physically and emotionally. Uuuugh! But feeling much better with all that now.
Also, I am currently looking to go back to work and it is SO HARD to find a job here! OMG! I know it's a real bad time to look too with all the college students working for the summer also. My husband has been looking also. He even applied for jobs he thought he never would. It's kinda crazy but we'll be just fine. It does get a bit overwhelming though. (I worry about everything!)
Besides all of that, I had my appointment on Monday to go over my labs and everything looks absolutley wonderful, which I am very thankful for. I have lost 86 lbs since surgery 5 months ago, for a grand total of 133 lbs G-O-N-E since this time last year. (YAY ME!)
So, thank you guys for keeping an eye out for me. The majority of my time online lately has been job searching for us both and working on out resumes. I'll make a more conscious effort to stay in the loop.

First visit with surgeon 2/07-383lbs Day of surgery 2/08-336lbs Current-226lbs
So glad to hear you are fine but sorry about the bumps in the road. Good luck on the job hunting..anyone would be lucky to have you! Where do you live Mare and what type of work do you and hubby do? I am in insurance and have a lot of contacts throughout the state with agents and insureds and can keep my ears open for you.

I hope things will be looking up for both of you as far as jobs go-and soon! I'm glad you've checked in, and 133 lbs??? Wowsa! I also had that same female surgery (and bladder tack on top of it) a few years ago. It worked wonders untill I lost weight, it seems like my TOM is getting heavier, but NOWHERE near what it was. What has your Dr. said? I do remember that my doctor said it wouldn't last forever. Hang in there and try to keep your chin up!
