Oh, and I wanted to say, me too, me too!  I'm married to my high school sweetheart too!  It's really been great for the both of us to go through this journey together.  Watching him as I've gone through these changes has been so rewarding too.  He truly loved me all these years through thick or thin, and I love that we can now experience even more things together.  :)

Good luck on your journey.  You'll find that in time you can try just a bite of things, and that one bite will be enough.  After all...the first bite of anything is always the best!   :)

First I must congradulate you on making goal!!  It must be so wonderful to feel such  a sense of accomplishment. 

I am going for the lapband and know that it won't be as quick as some of the others, but I am comfortable with that.  I have been obese for 37 years (more that half my life and most of my married life too!!!)  I was 110 when we got married and got pregnant right away.  I have never been small again!  Any weight loss will be a blessing.
