Day 3 after surgery update

I had Lap RNY surgery Monday, things have went very well. I am sore and having some gas pains but, nothing as bad as I expected.

I just started my "full liquids" and for my first try I sipped 4 oz of 1% milk, so far so good.

It is unbelievable that I am not hungry???? I just can't wrap my mind around it.

I go back to the Dr Monday for my first check up.

So glad to be on the "other side"

I'm so glad you're doing so well...I will have surgery tomorrow so it's so nice to hear some really good things right now....I'm a little scared...OK, OK...I'M A LOT SCARED!!!

Thanks everyone. And to those getting ready to have surgery....I felt the same way, I was SCARED. But, the surgery was great, no bad pain, and I am up and about!

I have had my 1/2 cup of milk and now I am trying a sugarfree pudding cup with choc protein but, I can't fini****!!! and it's soooo sweet? I love or loved sweet stuff LOL

I would love to talk to anyone who is going thru the process, just send me a note.

Give yourself a few weeks and you will start noticing the changes and start feeling like a totally NEW person!!! It is an AWESOME ride!!!

Unfortunately, I deleted this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
