Hey I'm now in the decision/approval process! Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I was wondering how long my insurance company would take to approve it? If anyone has the same insurance can you give an idea? Ireally ready to get the process on the road. School will be starting soon.

im having my surgery thru a Center for Excellence so the approval is automatic if you meet the requirementes..

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

They normally respond in 24/48 hours. I have had many returned the same day. :-) They are actually very quick!
