What is your weakness
My weakness is, as it has always been, sweets. I love Reeses peanut butter cups. I will, very occasionally, buy one. They make me feel sick though, which is good negative feedback.
As far as food on the go goes, I try to keep a protein bar with me. If I don't have one, Sheetz gas stations carry several low carb ones. As Jennifer says, many larger gas stations have decent options if you can steer clear of the donuts and chips. Fast food is tougher. I just try to choose as healthily as possible. A salad with grilled chicken, a wrap, something like that. I do eat at least part of the tortilla in a wrap, but that's up to you.
Take care.

i was feeling sooooooooooo ****y and confident that I could have "just one" of virtually anything ... when suddenly without warning, IT HAPPENED!!!!
Seriously, my craving for chocolate was gone, and I could be really fine with a small bite or two of whatever poisons I downed by the bucketful before my surgery. So when my daughter came home from England and made high tea (with a few dainty foodlettes and cucumber slices topped with a smidge of lite cream cheese in lieu of cucumber finger sandwiches), I was pretty smug.
But then there was this plate of pirouettes -- you know, those wafer cookie thingies rolled up into a little tube and filled with chocolate. Very small things. How could I go wrong?
Well ... one wasn't enough. Nor was two! Here I was, turning up my nose at Oreo cookies and birthday cake (which used to be my ENORMOUS weakness), but I was hooked on these crunchy, crispy, yummy chocolate-filled wafer cookies! It was a gruesome scene, I tell you. Gruesome.
Just to protect her tender young eyes from the wrath of my animalistic appetite, I begged her to take them out to her car and lock them up. I felt like a werewolf pleading to be handcuffed and locked away during a full moon!

Oh boy, is this they thread for me!
I have a list of weaknesses:
1. chocolate anything
2. sweet anything
3. Watermelon
Basically, I still am in love with all the foods I was before but now at least I don't eat tons of it at a time. I know it shouldn't be having any of it! It's how I got fat to begin with.
It would be easier to list the foods I DON'T like, LOL!

Melissa,
Oh, you're definately not alone... I used to eat a lot of Nabs myself, kept them in my car and when my blood sugar felt a bit low I'd eat one or two. Now I love chocolate but limit myself because I don't want to fall back into old habits. I also love the "True North" pisachio chips - omg they are sooo good! But again I have to limit myself and keep them out of the house. I bring them to work when I'm having a bad craving, eat a couple and share them with my co-workers, they're usually gone within the hour.
I hope your ulcer gets better soon, I love Wendy's chili!
