OK Gang.... I have read this many times but now, it has happened to me for the first time. The Dreaded Pateau....sTALL...) 0  weight loss.  I am about 71/2 months out and have not lost in 2 weeks. 2 lbs on the scale bounces up and down. When does it end. I am journaling.. and all the things I did before.  Please tell me about your stalls and the tricks you did to get out of it. What months did they happen?  gosh, I hope I'm not done loosing? I need to loose 58 more lbs. I really want it off before I have the hernia surgery. Tell me your secrets plleassssseeeeeee!

I have read something about a "5-day pouch test."  Have you heard of that?  I think it's for people who feel like they have hit a plateau, aren't sure their pouch is working for them, etc.

I don't think it is the pouch since I still can't eat much. I think people who do that are further out on their wls journey than i am. I have heard them talk about that on the main forum but I think I just need to bust the stall. Thanks for the idea though.

Aww.. Myrtis..  just look at what you have done in less than a year!  Just give your body time.  Every time I have had a mini-stall I have just waited it out and eventually that scale started dropping again.  I hope you start losing soon!  Love ya girl!

((((Myrtis)))),

I'm sorry that this happened and of course you can log your intake and activity to see if there are any 'tweaks' you can make, but to be honest, your body has been on a long trip and probably just needs to take a break before it continues this miraculous journey your taking it on. If you read through my profile, you'll see that I had similar things happen to me and I had the same OMG I'm not ready for this to be over thoughts. Stay with the program and you'll be fine.

Hang in there!

Deep down I know this is true but it is so frustrating. Thanks for the advice. Maybe the scale will move soon. I have never measured  so I don't know if I have lost inches. I work in the heat and drink a lot of flavored water and decafe tea. But it looks like I would sweat that off. Sorry to wine

I've had stalls throughout this process, they happen.  You will, for the most part just have to wait it out.  You are fortunate that you haven't had one before now, frankly.  In any event, the best advice I have heard for breaking a stall is to shake up your routine.  Fit in some extra protein, drink more water, and change your exercise routine.  If you haven't been exercising up to this point, maybe now would be a good time to start.  Your body will rest for a bit, but it will lose again, you're most likely not done yet.

Good luck and take care.
