I got a call from the surgeon's office and my new date is September 22, 2008. Started a new ticker with correct date and I am told that if someone else has to cancel then I will get their spot. I am first to get the spot should it happen. I have plenty of time to get this bug cleared up and to get back to exercising and all.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

It is really great to have a concrete date! That time will pass quickly and be here before you know it! But.. hey.. it could be sooner too if someone cancels! CONGRATS!
