Help with 2nd appeal
Has anyone been through a 2nd appeal? Does it have an effect on the outcome if you are present for it? I work a the school and it is hard for me to get off but if anyone has been through this and knows what will help please do , I am getting desperate, I feel that I have given them all the information and documents that I have but I am very nervous about not being present for the hearing. I need help, please if anyone even knows someone thats been through this please help!

I am currently going through my first appeal, and it has been excruciating enough. I hope and pray that I don't have to go that far.
I did want to tell you that I hired a patient advocate to help me with my appeal. She is such a wonderful person, and comes very highly recommended. If you're interested, PM me and I will send you her info. She is in Georgia, but she deals with insurance everywhere. And don't think she's too expensive either. She only charges $75 and she gets all your paperwork and deals with the insurance company for you. I'd be willing to bet she may be able to help you. It wouldn't hurt to call her and talk to her - the phone call is free.
Heck, I haven't won my appeal (because I haven't heard back from it yet), but I already consider it some of the best $75 I've spent to date!!!
