Still recovering....but down 32 pounds!!!

I guess I should have added that I started with the 2 week preop diet, so it's more like 6 weeks.  Funny thing is, I don't know how it feels! LOL!  I mean, my clothes are looser, but I really don't "feel" any different.  The funny thing is that now when I step on the scale, instead of worrying which way the bar will slide, I just wonder how FAR it's gonna slide to the left! LOL!

Ah, Lisa!  I've only lost like 5 pounds and I already feel LIGHTER and my clothes are looser!  lol  I was wanting to latch on what sextuple that would feel like.  Man, I can hardly wait.  Keep up the great job...that bar is gonna be slid wayyyyy over to the left before ya know it!

Thanks, Misty!  Three weeks will fly by, and soon you'll be on the loser's bench!  You are in great hands with Dr. K....he's a fabulous surgeon.  Good luck, and I'll be thinking of ya!

Wow! Lisa!!

You are really doing very well. Much better than I was at the same point in my own journey. I also found that I had a lot of trouble with fatigue early on and it took a while to really recover, but I have sooooo much more energy now  than I have had in years. Keep up with it, you'll be amazed!

Thanks, Barb!  I forgot to add that  part of the 32  pounds was preop diet, but I forgot where to draw the line! LOL!  Good to hear that you are feeling good and have lots of energy.  I"ll just be patient and wait for my inner ADHD to kick in!

Lisa,

Weight lost, is weight lost. When I started, I just counted from my surgery date, then I thought about it and decided it didn't really matter to me if I lost pre-op or post-op I still worked hard to lose 'em and I count every single one!

Hugs,

Barb

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
