Its a Saturday and there's a war going on in my belly today. Its from too much antibiotics I am afraid and it isn't pretty. I am working on getting things back in balance with some probiotic suppliments so here's hoping that and yet another new Rx from my doc does the trick. (I have thrush in my mouth and an over abundance of yeast in another location) That's what can happen when anitbiotics kill of your friendly colonies in your gut.

I am going to try to take my daughter to a Women's self defense class offered at my gym for free this afternoon. I am not going to participate but she needs me to go so she can be my guest. Boy I hope I feel better by tomorrow.

I got my walk in yesterday but not my bike ride - so I'm planning on riding today. Yesterday my Mom came over so we could clean out the hutch I have in my kitchen. Well - I was a little overly eager and when I went to bend over and put something in a bottom drawer it felt like someone had stabbed me. I ended up spending most of the day on the couch on the heating pad. Everything's back to normal now and I've learned yet another lesson in overdoing it.

My last steri strip fell off this morning so I may get in the pool and walk this afternoon. The day looks like it'll be perfect for it. So I'm committed to a 2 mile bike ride and 30 minutes or more of pool walking.

Hope yall have a great day.

Don't worry in a few more weeks you will be able to do more. Just let your body tell you when to stop so that it can charge up for the next task. You are really doing well so far. Getting back into the water is what I will be looking forward to after I have my surgery. That and taking the pups to the bark park.

Ann,
I am so sorry about what you are going through I know it is no fun.
I hope things clear up soon.

For my accountability today I have walked the dogs 30 minutes, did 30 on the elliptical,30 on the bike, and 30 on the treadmill with a 10% incline for 15 minutes.
I have burned a little over 1300 calories which is over my goal on workout days.
We are not able to go to the lake today mainly because of cash and gas.
Hopefully we will be able to go this week on Lee's day off.

Annie you are amazing. By the time I have my surgery you will have already made it to Onederland. I bet that keeps you motivated. But be careful not to overdo cause that can actually be counterproductive with weightloss. But then again if I knew everything about it IO wouldn't be fat now would I. LOL!

My pouchie is pretty pissed off with me and I've been dry heaving and hurting all night.  Some salmon got stuck and it's been hell.  Today is a liquid day for me.

Hubby and I both have headaches, both kids are acting up, and we are potty training.  The gym is doubtful at best.. I'm hoping I can go outside and get some yardwork done so I can work on the garage tomorrow.  Just depends on hubby and the kids.

Have a good one.

I promise you when the kids grow up a little more it will get easier for the most part. Never perfect but easier. Maybe chasing the kids around while doing yard work should count as a workout. I bet it sure feels like one.

Hi Andrea,
I just read the part of your post about having the salmon get stuck.
It is the pits.
I told Lee that you are 4 years out and it goes to show things can still get stuck.

My Girl friend and I caught a boat to Shackleford and walked the beach early this morning , then walked some more to get back to the pick up point.  Ready for a nap now!  We have the best beach in the state here out on Shackleford Island.  We walked the point picking up shells than did our power walk for about 2 miles down then back.  Checked out all the cute little and older surfers.

I am looking forward to going to the beach eventually. We haven't been able to fit that in this year and I know when we do it will be fun.
