The saga continues... the stent came out after only 4 days

Hey everyone!  Just a quick update on my continuing saga.  As you may recall I had a stent put in to fix a stricture which resulted from my colorectal cancer surgery on May 28th.  Well, it came out Tuesday morning after only 4 days.  My "problems" continue and I have another flex sig scheduled for this coming Thursday to see if the stent did any good or if the stricture is still there.  If it is, Dr. Chapman will try to dilate it again, for the 3rd time.  I will have to do my 8th bowel prep in less than 5 months on Wed.  This situation is getting the best of me and I just don't know how much more I can take, but then I think of the alternative (a colostomy) and I figure I best keep trying. 

On a bright note, I did go on my annual Girls Weekend to White Lake this weekend with 3 of my best friends.  We had a great time; even though I wasn't feeling the best, I did enjoy getting away and being with my friends.
