FINALLY!!!

So I had to go back for a 2nd EKG on Monday and it was still abnormal but the cardiologist said shes not worried about it shes says im 27, young, and healthy.  So she cleared me for surgery.  They sent the results to my surgeons office and they were supposed to send it to the insurance bc thats all they were waiting for approval.  So that was on Monday, so I called yesterday to the surgeons office to make sure they did submit it and thats all the insurance company needs and they left a message with a nurse to call me back.  Needless to say they did not call me back. So first thing this morning I called and demanded to speak to someone instead of leaving a message.  So I get a nurse on and she went over the results of the EKG and they said they did submit to the insurance and then she put me on hold to find out something....and what that something was...was an APPROVAL  letter from the insurance they have in their hand!!!   OMGoodness I am so freaking excited I am beaming ear to ear!!  My surgery is September 5th!!  I have already started my liquid diet last Friday and it has been so hard.  Yesterday was my birthday and wanted to do something special for it but couldnt bc I can not eat anything.  But with the approval I can care less now if I did anything or not.  I started this journey in February and never thought I would get here.  I am ready to start my new life and I am so thankful that I have people on here that I can share it with it.  I appreciate all of your support!!

Thanks Andrea....do you know when our next meeting is I would love to meet yall before I have surgery.  My sis will be here but she can come with me!!

I"m not sure when our next meeting will be, but I"m sure we would love for your sister to join us!  Darci usually plans our get togethers.  Maybe you can drop her an email and see when our next meeting will be??  BE BLESSED!

Amanda!  Celebrating here with you, my dear!  Congratulations on your approval and your surgery date!  Wow, just a week away.  I hope the time flies for you and I hope the liquid diet becomes easier. 

Also, Happy (belated) Birthday!  You will have 2 birthdays within 2 weeks of one another to share next year!

I know Shauna!! I am so excited.  The liquid diet has became easier it just makes it hard when you have to cook for a family but Im doing good and not nibbling which I thought I would be doing.  I have stayed strong!!  Thank you for the Birthday wishes.

Thanks Rhonda!!  I cant believe it is next Friday!!!  I have my sis coming in from TX to help and I havent seen her in forever!!    Thank you for the birthday wishes.  Dont have an angel yet but I am sure I can find someone hopefully!!
