Welcome to the NC forum. I had RNY 11 months ago and its the best thing I ever did you will find a great bunch of ladies and gents here on the board! Congrats on your upcoming date.. that is one day before my 1 year surgiversary, I would be excited if I was you too!!

I'm new here too and pre-op like you.  I don't have a surgery date yet.  I'm still in the pipeline and jumping through insurance hoops.  I know you're excited and, if you're like me, a little scared too.  Keep us updated!

Hi Meredith. Welcome. I am in Eastern NC as well. I am scheduled for 9/8 surgery. The pipeline is a "fun"place isn't it. NOT!!! Best of luck with the hoops.

That's only a week from now!  What city are you in?  Are you doing your surgery in Greenville at Pitt?
