Today is 4 weeks and I had a visit to my surgeon...

he said everything looks great...I've lost 29 lbs. in 29 days.  Clothes are definately too big....YAHOO!!!!  WTH though...no one at work (I work with 125 teachers) has said they can even see it.  I just don't get it...when they saw me at the end of last year I weighed 259...today 216.  How the hell is that not noticeable?  You would think 43 lbs. would make a difference.  Maybe I don't realize I'm working at a school for the blind or something!!!
Anywho, only 71 more lbs. to go until I reach my goal...Isn't that exciting?  I'm going to bust!!!

Your co-workers are problably so wrapped up in their own things (since school just started back up) that they haven't taken the time to really notice much of anything.  Then there are some people don't just say anything because they don't want to put their foot in their mouth or something...  Don't worry, you will get the comments and they will keep coming for a long while.  The only people who said anything to me at first were those who knew I'd had WLS.  I was so heavy that even though it was noticable to me not many others could see it at first.  Anyway, you're doing great, keep up the great work and be ready for those comments!!!!!

Thanks Sheryl...I'm sure you're right about them being so busy.  This was the first week of school with kids so it was crazy!  I definately see the difference.  I did hear one girl say (when I did not attend a Mexican Fiesta today)..."so is she anorexic now or something."  Oh, I wanted to....but then I realized I needed to be a professional. LOL

lol on the anorexia already... lol!  I got those comments too but not until I'd lost 218lbs...  I'm sure it was best for you to be the professional one.  I had all kinds of questions about why I wasn't eating very much and that sort of thing.  For the people that didn't know I'd had WLS I just told that I was cutting back.  The others already knew.  Oh... another thing... wait until they star****ching you like a hawk... lol!  That's funny!!!

Good luck girl!  Your'e doing great!  And remember you're doing this for your health!!!

What will they be saying when you are 71 pounds like from today.......... OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG woooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo jealousy gurl, plan jealousy...... I personally didn't tell anyone...... and am so glad I didn't my weightloss has been painless at work......... no one watches me only wants to know what I am doing. I challenge someone to dis me for that.... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh bring it onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn............ LOL

A pound a day!  That is so totally fabulous!  Those 71 pounds will be gone before you know it THEN get ready for a role-reversal...your co-workers are going to be saying WTH!
