I feel great!!! My knees don't hurt as much, still a little tender, but I think it will go away soon as I drop a few more pounds.  I am a little concerned about not feeling restricted anymore but this too shall pass.

My DH is feeling better and I am about to get over the scare he gave me!!  Blocked arteries in the heart are nothing to play with.  All better now with a stent. Thank you Lord.

My DD is in her last semester at UNCW. She will graduate in Dec with her BA in Business with an emphasis in accounting.  She has an interview tomorrow at an accounting firm in town so we have our fingers crossed. It will be a relief to see her making her own money!!! LOL

Shauna -

I am going out of town next Wednesday and returning on Monday the 22nd - my neice is getting married in Memphis and my youngest daughter, Lori and I and Mattie are going.  I would love to meet again - I realized that Marion would be about the same distance for you and for me if we wanted to try to find a place there.  I don't know of anything off the top of my head, but we could check around.

As for a support group - that would be great, too.  I might could make it once a month that direction.  And I think talking to Barb is a good idea, since she is very experienced and has the Raleigh one.

I will let you know after I get back home when might work for me - and in the meantime if you and Diane want to throw out some dates, then I can look at that too.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

Great job Shauna!  Maybe you were supposed to have a little slide like that, just so you know that you have the power to take back the control!  :)  Now you know...and anytime you slide a little, you'll know that you'll be able to get back on track!  :)  Congrats!
