Good Stuff
I finally updated my avitar (not the best picture - but still it's new). I had my follow up appointment yesterday. It was supposed to have been rescheduled since Dr. Mac was in surgery but it seems that I never got the phone call last week. So I got to see Dr. Mann. I really enjoyed that. He was very personable and gave me rave reviews.
Fully dressed yesterday I weighed in at 267. My blood pressure was 110/63. I asked the nurse to retake it as my bp has never been that low before in my adult life. She was just all over herself with how well I've done. I thought I'd done wonderfully but it just seems so much more unreal when you hear it from a medical professional. I've now lost more than 10% of my starting weight and I feel awesome.
Dr. Mann cleared me for the full stage 3 diet and explained that it's really going to be trial and error. What works today might not tomorrow and vice versa. He also encouraged me to add push ups to my daily exercise routine. He says there is a push up for everyone. (I've been doing wall push ups since pre-op) He said to move a little lower (kitchen counter height) and not say "Oh, I'll do 20" he said to do them until I can't do anymore. Then a littel later move down to like bathroom counter height, then chair height et****il I finally get to the floor.
I have a feeling I'll be sore tomorrow. I also had my labs drawn yesterday so I'm curious to see how those will turn out.
I hope everyone is having a great day - if not, make it that way.

I've done the wall/counter push ups, they are easy at first, then get tough.... I have no upper body strength, so that's an area I really need to work harder at.
Have a great Tuesday! Alice

Thank you for the attention!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope the fill goes well for you tomorrow - let me know as soon as you get back to the computer.
The stage 3 is the soft meats stage. Basically anything but the really dense meats. I need to make my appointment for the follow up with the nutritionist (Have you done that yet?) Stalls suck - my scale didn't move at all last week from Monday til Friday. Now it's moving again.
Hopefully he'll get you out of pain as well.
