Im finally awake enough to type LOL
Im home and fine
Thank you Alice for stopping by and checking in on me and being a unoffcial angel
it is always nice to see you and I love how you have all access to the hospital LOL and by the way Alice you are TINY!!!!! your face looks incredible as does the rest of you.
I got lucky this time with the IV. I had a wonderful nurse who I warned ahead of time (I always do but sometimes it goes in one ear and out the other) she used Novacaine which made things go 10000 times better and only had to do one stick. That is the only thing I was worried about
I also got to meet a wonderful lady who was the Anesthesia Tech. She was sooooooooooo funny!! she found out I had RNY and had Dr. Mann. She is going to have RNY and have Dr. Mann as well. She told me some stories you wouldnt get to hear unless you were in the OR with him LOL anyways once again Dr. Mann used his skills and removed Mr. Gallbladder and friends LAP. Im glad it didnt have to be done open. Im sore on the right hand side of my body. Too me it feels like the RNY pain but not as intense. I have been sleeping a lot and resting. I have more scars on my stomach now... I asked Dr. Mann if he could please cut me where I already had my RNY LAP scars
he just looked at me and shook his head. Anyways thanks everyone for sending me positive vibes and for thinking of me... you guys are the best!!

Welcome home, Sweetie! SO glad all went well, especially the stick. Normally they don't like to use Novocaine on a stick because it causes the vein to shrink and the catheter often dislodges... but the one nurse who used it on me pre-op said, if it comes out, you'll be unconscious and they can re-stick you and you won't be aware of it... I thought that was civilized...
Gets lots of rest, Sweetie and feel better soon!

Welcome home Darcie and I'm glad everything went well. Just wanted to tell you I'm with you on them trying to find a vein in me and that's why I have an port cath, I didn't want to get it but I've had it two years now and oh its such a blessings when they have to give me an IV or draw blood in the hospital. Anyway I hope you start feeling better and better each day.
