Need a primary physician.

I live in south Georgia and plan to have my surgery at Duke.  My insurance requires I have a letter of merit recommending the surgury.  I have gone to two primary physician's down here and both have turned me down flat.  They tell me they cant do it because its to dangerious and its morally wrong.  I have a BMI over 50 and have been obese most of my life and I have documented weights for the past five years but no one wants to listen down here.   I put a topic on the Georgia board but does anyone have any advice on what to do?

 Go see dr cindy Chambliss in Macon Ga. She approved my wifes RNY and was my personal doctor for many years. She is very open to this type of surgery and may be quite helpful in expediting alot of the mandatory things. If she is not taking new patients ask her staff for a recomendation.
