I'm so excited!! Doctor's office called today and gave me the date of November 6th. That is two weeks from today. I didn't think they would get me in that soon, but I'm so glad.

I so glad I found this site, there is so much great info and great support also. I know I'm going to need ya'll...

My doc doesn't require the liquid diet before surgery. I have been on low carb since Aug 24th though, in hopes of my approval for the WLS. He requires that to shrink the fatty liver i think. Hey just says to eat light the day before surgery. I will be on liquids for 2 weeks after surgery. Then pureed food for two weeks, then soft foods.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
