oh cindy im sorry youre having to go through all this... i was thinking about you last night when i had a brief panic as i thought i had something stuck and i thought... "oh no is this what shes been going through? its awful!" but you know, apparently ulcers in the pouch are nothing to tangle with. my surgery was delayed because of my ulcers and i got a stern talking to about post-op ulcers and how dangerous they are... carafate is easy. i took it for a year after my original GI found my first 4 ulcers in my duodenum. it has basically no side affects except the fact that it effervesces (sp?) like alka seltzer so you might feel a little ballooning because of that, but its just coating, like the doctor said.

we seem to be on the same track... I am just under 30 lbs lost now too!

Hey congrats on your weight loss! Well I don't want this medience making me retaining any fluids or whatever I'm trying to lose not gain lol. Well like I said I haven't gotten the meds yet but need to get ready to head to the hospital. Talk to you later.
