I hope you all know you are family to me and I feel I can share most anything with you.
Lee had his 6 month check up this morning and after many months of giving him the health lectures and just plain giving him a hard time.
He finally asked his doctor for some Viagra OMG.
Lee does not take care of his health like he should and it worries me to no end.
He had to have a stint put in 3 months after we were married and takes hearts meds everyday.
I do fimly belive if he would change some of his habits many of his medical problems would get better.
So now I have aired my dirty laundry but I am hopful with the new medication time will tell.
I am so excited about this I think I may have to go buy some new sexy night gowns LOL
This news this morning has sparked my motivation even more so off to my treadmill I go not for him but for me.

I am kinda of in the same boat with my DH.  He has been talking about asking about viagra, but I am nervous because he had a massive heart attack and almost died.  I'd rather do without sex than DH.  Scary for me.

This is an uncomfortable situation to talk about here and for our husbands to talk to thier docs about.
I sent a typed message with him this morning requesting this medication.
From what I have read it is safe for those with heart conditions.

Annie, hopefully he will watch you regain your health back and that might inspire him to quit his bad habits and focus on his health.  By him asking the doc for viagra shows just how much he cares about you, as that is probably embarassing to share with the doctor-or at least it was for my DH who asked long before my wls and was told he was too young! LOL-NOT!  Since I've has wls I have more drive and really wish he'd go back and say, "well, I'm not getting any younger"! LOL, enjoy it, you lucky dog, (or bird?) LOL..........I thought it wasn't for ppl with heart conditions???  dunno, I'm not the pro for sure

You know I have a new attitude LOL and Lee Adams did not do this without some arm twisting on my part..
If I were him he sahould be thrilled he married Dr. Annie LOL I am all the time looking and reading medical stuff.

Yes, on the family note and yes, on sharing anything with us!  So glad to hear about the new script for you and Lee.  I agree that with him seeing all the new wonderful changes in you...especially your new lease on life...that may be just the motivation he needs to get his own health in order.  You are certainly leading by example! 

I noticed that they are making pretty new nightie thingies with underwire bras built in and I thanked my lucky stars...I know my boobies are going to need all the lift-help they can get!  lol 

Just a note of warning regarding the Viagra, Annie.  Make sure Lee doesn't ever get a tablet stuck in his throat.  He may suffer from a stiff neck! 

Is he on HBP meds?  If so, the "new med" (OMG, I can't even type it!) will probably have an adverse effect on his blood pressure.  Be careful with that.  My doc said that Levitra was safer and "worked faster", yeah baby LOL (sorry bout that, couldn't help it!)  I was on lisinopril/HCTZ prior to my WLS for my blood pressure and, let me tell you,...a fleet of Victoria's Secret supermodels could have walked in my living room and I couldn't "move a mucsle" while on that medicine.  This was a huge determining factor in my decision to get serious about my health.  Nothing feels worse than being relatively young but feeling like an old man.  Now, whew, let's just say things are different.  Mmm,mmm,mmm.... Just as a side note, consider yourselves lucky ladies, I've NEVER shared that little tid-bit of information with anyone before!
