Thank you all for prayers

Just wanted to thank you all for all your support and prayers.   My dad passed early  this morning right after i went to sleep and it was very peaceful.   I stayed up until after midnight.  Said my prayers that he would have a speedy journey to our Lord.  Took me until about 1230 to fall asleep and 10 min later the nurse came in and he was breathing hard so she went to get a shot of morphine.  She came back and by that time, he stopped breathing and i bounced out of bed and he was gone.   He is in a better place now without any suffering and we are at peace.

Thank you all for your love, support and prayers.  You are all truly a part of my family.

I am sorry to hear about your dad passing but am glad you are at peace. We have a common bond you and I now. Today marks 4 years since my dad passed and I, like you, prayed for a peaceful and speedy passing as I didn't want my dad to suffer anymore. It is hard when our parents pass. I lost my mother when I was 21 and then 20 years later my dad. I miss them both but can truthfully say that losing my mom was the most traumatic of the two. She was so young and noone can love you like mama can. At least that's how I feel. Anyhow, again I am sorry.

I am sorry for your loss.  I lost my dad to a massive heart attack when I was 16 (41 years ago) but I still remember how I felt.  I am glad that you are at peace with where he is spending eternity.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing and if you need anyone to talk to please send me a message. I to know how hard it is to lose a parent, my Mom passed away April 2004 and my Daddy July 2006 and I still think of them everyday but like you I know they are in a better place and not suffering anymore.

Ohh Pam - I am so glad you were there.  As much as I hate the way things have gone for you and your family, you know that your Dad is at peace and with his Lord.
