I put 1 pound of boneless chicken breast in the crock pot with a packet of old el paso taco seasoning and cover with 1/2 a cup of can/jarred salsa and cook on high for 2 hours and then shred the chicken.
I typically put a little less seasoning because it tends to be salty, I do about 1/2 to 3/4ths packet... just depends on your taste.
