READY - Set - GO!!!!

I've got everything to Nash WL except the one I've been complaining about tonight.  Then I will get an appointment with Dr. Mann and soon insurance approval.  Yeah!!!!  The actual process has not been bad.  It's actually gone fairly well.  Hope to have surgery this year.

I am 3 weeks pre-op! I am both excited and a little nervous. My surgeon doesn't do the pre liquid diet, but states NO weight gain. Unfortunatly I have gained 3 or 4 lbs. I HAVE to get it off! It's so hard, I get so hungry, But I know I can do it!

Girl ... work on getting those pounds off.  I have seen Dr. Bauman cancel surgeries the morning you report to the hospital if your weight shows a gain.  Drink lots of water and do what exercise you can.  And I'll see you in 3 weeks!

You can do it....You can do it!!!   I had gained 14 and had 2 weeks to lose it...I made it and you can too!!!

I am post-op - tomorrow will be 3 months since I had my band surgery.  I have lost 53 pounds and don't know how many inches.  I plan to go tomorrow to Curves and get my measurements done....

I feel great !  More energy than I can remember.  So many positive things since surgery. 

And the best thing has been the friends that I have met from the boards and from support group meetings. 

Concern:  My hair was already thin, and now it is very thin.  I know about the anesthesia effect on hair loss and I take B12 and get in my protein, but....

I have my psych appt next Thursday (20th) then will make my "decision" appt after that.  Still do not know if ins. has approved or not.  Do they send me a letter or does the surgeon let you know? Just wondering...

BTW, went to Weigh****chers tonight and, after having gained 2 lbs since first surgeon consult, I've lost 3 this week!!!  I'm so excited that that extra+ is off!!!  I was really afraid that I would gain too much and they would not let me have surgery.

I am almost two years out and have lost 185 pounds.  I started at 363 and now I am 178.  My life is so wonderful now.  I can walk and drive a car.  Would do it 100 times over.  I love my RNY

I'm 20 months postop lap RNY, continue to be free of complications, and am doing and feeling great!  I've lost 168 pounds, have been maintaining for better than a couple of months now, and am actually around 10 lb (+/-) below goal! 

I'm on my way to SC tomorrow to a You Tube "Meet & Greet" with several WLS You Tubers.  I can't wait!!!  There are over 40 of us going!
