It's so great getting to know all of you! I'm just curious, what type of job do you have?

I work in a Call Center for Windstream telephone company. I have been there for going on 7 years.  I work in the financial department and basically just type reports all day!  I actually love my job.. I have a long commute to Charlotte each day, but other than that, I love it.

Before that I was a Supervisor at JCPenney. Worked there for 10 years.

I am the administrator for the Department of Emergency Medicine with the ECU Brody School of Medicine.  I work with the doctors who see patients in the ED (or ER to use an old term which is taboo now a days)....

I've been with ECU for over 28 years!  Retirement, here I come ..... soon!

I have been an LPN for 25 years and currently work in the ED at a small hospital - I have been at an urgent care, nursing homes, and private duty.  I work on an as needed basis (prn).  I have been at the ED for 5 years now.
Most recently my full time employment was paramedic with the county.  We worked 24 on and 48 off.  I retired in June of this year after 22 years.

Wow, I am a jill of all trades and master of some!!!  My husband was in the Navy for 24 years and I have done lots of things.  Mostly Administrative Assistant for the government. I have worked at the Naval Aviation Maintenance Organization, Naval Depot Operations Center, Naval Aviation Warfare, V-22 Test and Evaluation Team, Naval Investigative Service, Drug Enforcement Adminstration, C-Cubed (government contractor that build communication centers) are among some of them.

Now that he has retired I have been a Deputy Clerk of Court, HR Manager and am now A REALTOR/Broker.  I really enjoy my job.... staying broke right now but I still love it. LOL

I'm a communications supervisor with the State Highway Patrol.  I supervise a crew of 3-5 telecommunicators in a regional communications center.  We are responsible for dispacthing calls for service, fielding calls from the public, and whatever else is thrown our way!  I also am on staff at our training academy for our basic schools and inservice training sessions.   Never a dull moment!  I'll begin my 13th year in January.
