Shauna,
You are in my constant thoughts and prayers. This day and evening will probably fly by but tomorrow you get to sleep for a few hours. Take some deep breaths and savor this time with your family and the threshold to the next phase of your life.

I can't wait to discuss the food porn deams ......( oh yeah, I forgot,  I already gave you one) LOL!! Sean Connery will easily take the back seat to a big ol' WLS friendly stuffed bell pepper!

Blessings to you, girlie! I put a pretty lace doilie on the losers bench just for you!

Hugs
Jane

Shauna, I can't believe your day is tomorrow!  I know how you are feeling. If you don't get much sleep tonight you will be able to catch up over the next few days. I will keep you in my prayers for an uneventful surgery. I can't wait to hear how you did and to watch you shrink before our eyes. Hows your husband feeling? I hope he is better.

Thanks everyone!  I am starting to feel embarressed...I don't do well with being the "belle of the ball" and that is what ya'll are making me feel like.  I appreciate the overwhelming support!

Today HAS flown very well thanks to all I had to do!  The list is still LONG but most can't be done till a little later.

Thank you for the heads-up on lack of sleep the first couple of weeks.  I hadn't anticipated that possibility.  Don't think I'll resort to Tylenol PM tonight either because I know we won't get to bed until 10 or 11 p.m. and will have to be back up at 3:30'ish a.m.

Allen sounds so much better so I'm guessing we may get to have a platonic cuddle tonight.  Phew!  Nothing soothes me more, so I am long overdue this week.  I hope this 3-day weekend is a peaceful, restful one for him and that the hospital room's sleeper is comfy!

Here's to Oz tomorrow and food porn in my near future!

Shauna,
Who knows I just might join you in the wee hours of the morning seems to be the norm for me as I go through menapause.
If I dont join you you will know I am happily snoozing away.
I have tried the ambian works great but I am still waking up in the wee hours.
Last night I came up with something that worked and you will be happy to know it was 50% natural.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Band to DS
on 11/20/08 10:07 am, edited 2/4/12 2:39 am

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
