Hey guys!   In a previous post, Anniep59 provided a chocolate mousse recipe.  I asked about amending it and she told me to go ahead and update her on my resuts.  I loved it with my changes, but I am not a gourmet by any stretch so I can't promise you'll like it (YTMV - your taste may vary  ).  I've put my changes in parens after the affected item.

Annie - thanks so much for this amazing recipe!

Chocolate Mousse

4oz bittersweet chocolate
1/4 heavy cream (1.4 cup fat free half and half)
1/2 cup splenda (actually used 3/4 cup splenda)
4 eggs seperated (3/4 cup whites only [from Eggbeaters] and 1/2 cup Eggbeaters)
pinch of salt (used pinch of cream of tartar)

melt chocolate in microwave according to package directions
add cream and mix.
Add Splenda slowly to mixture.
Add egg yolks one at a time.
Beat whites with added salt to stiff peaks.
Fold whites into chocolate mixture.
Set in bowl to chill.
