Glad to hear you doing so well. I agree it is so amazing when you realize...WOW I did it.  I enjoy every day so much more. This Holiday season compared to last is so different. Last year we went to Disney and I had to rent a scooter because I could not do all the walking. Yesterday I took my entire class shopping at the mall and walked all day long and was not even tired.
Congratulaations again on a successfull surgery. Hang in there every day gets better and better.

with God all things are possible.

Oh Chickie - you just wait those WOW moments will start rolling in and then you're going to catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and not know who that is. I am so excited for you. I absolutely love my RNY. You're going to encounter a few snags here and there - but be patient (foamies - ughhh) Stick with the plan that you've been learning for the past few months.

There is so much more to be thankful for this year - ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shauna:

I just love your positive attitude and energy! It always brings a smile to my face. I am so glad that things are going well for you as you transition into your new way of life! The weight will come off believe me. I, too, was skeptical since there were times that I lost just a pound a week and I was rather discouraged. I watched other peoples tickers and they lost way faster than me. I wasn't sure I would make goal. It just seemed like it may not happen and here I am...way beyond my goal and doing well.

You will have much success! Not a doubt in my mind!

Very informative post!  Sounds like you're doing really well!  II can remember all too well the "left side pain" that you speak of!  It took me a few weeks before it totally went away.  Keep up the great work!

How did I miss this post until now? Anyway, Thanks for the information Shauna! I'm so glad that you are doing so well! I'm keeping that positive attitude also and I'm really surprised that I'm not more nervous than I am! I am sooo ready for this!

Keep on doing great.. remember I'm watching ya! ;) LOL. In a way it feels like whatever happens to you will happen to me! Although I know that we are all different!

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
