thanks...the prayers really worked
Hi All:
The surgery was good and went very smooth. The vascular surgeon said he would try to do angioplasty with a stent and if that wasn't possible then bypass as the alternate. Well, luckily, the stent worked and he was able to go home this afternoon. The doctor did say it may be a month or so before he gets relief in the toes due to the lack of circulation and the plaque build up there. This was the same place as last time except it was on the opposite side. He keeps getting blockage in the iliac arteries......
So, please continue prayers as he will need them to quit smoking! I am scared that he is running out of warnings and the next time he may not be as lucky.

Hi Lisa,
I'm so very glad to hear that Phillip is doing well and will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry that he's in so much pain and hope that as the circulation returns that the pain will subside.
Take care of you and be sure to call the Dr if you don't get that Rx filled this morning so that you can get some samples.
