Thank you for updating us! We all definitely know that you can't answer each one personally and we know you can't be online too much with everything that is going on. You have way too much to worry about! I have been coming here to check and see if there were any updates though.. So glad everything is going well so far! Stay positive! We are still praying for you!
Hey Deb
I am glad you are settling in and there is no infection. I know exactly what you are going through...sorta lol. My last child was born at 31 weeks. I woke up on New Years day and my water had broken 2 months ahead of schedule. I also went to our local hospital which at the time was in Reidsville. I was transfered to Forsyth Hospital in Winston which has an excellent NICU. I also was put on bed rest but because I was having contractions they wouldnt let me eat anything because they never knew when they might have to take the baby. I layed in bed only for 3 days before they decided to take mine. He was born at 5lbs an 1 ounce. He was so little but he was a fighter and breathed on his own from the get go. He never went on a venilator. Those steriod shots help! He stayed for a week in NICU but after that was ok to bring home. I know how hard it is and my thoughts are with you. The hardest thing I ever had to do was leave him at that hospital after they discharged me. He will be 3 on Saturday and he is very healthy and you wouldnt ever know he was a premmie. I hope everything goes well and know that you are not alone. Good luck

Oh Gosh you are in the best hands ever!! My Duke experience was so wonderful. I've worked in hospitals and with doctors a good bit of my life and I remain ever thankful and duly impressed with Duke and its philosophy and approach to patient care.
I'll keep you and your husband AND your growing family in my prayers.
hugs,
Cindy

Deb,
I'm sorry but I'm kinda out of it, I've been offline lately and just catching up. I'm sorry you're having some challanges but I'm with you and optimistic with a healthy outcome! I will keep you, Ryan and the baby in my thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a lighter subject, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that only good things come your way for a healthy, happy and rewarding 2009! Rex surprised me Christmas morning with a miniature Dachshund puppy so I've had my hands busy! He's a sweetheart and Rex named him "Sir Cooler Honey Sugar Boy", that's his akc registered name... He thought it would be funny to name him something silly so when we "stud" him out I'll have to write it all out 50 gazillian times... lol! We just call him Cooler or Cooler Honey... lol!
Anyway, again I hope you're doing well... Just remember to keep doing what the doctor's tell you to do, sip sip sip and leave it all in God's hands! I'm going to be up in Raliegh later this month, I'll check in with you online and if you're able to have visitors I'll probably pop in on you and try to make you laugh... lol!
Stay sweet! Lots of hugs!
Sheryl

Deb, prayers are going up for every single day you can stay pregnant. I am so glad to see an update from you and I hope your next one will be even further into the pregnancy with just as good of news. Your upbeat outlook is the best thing to read from you right now, I hope it only gets better from here on out.
