Pj with that sort of attitude  we all are going to have a great time with you here. I loved the valentine. So when you get all foxy and stuff you will have to get a new valentine up for next year. Im glad you got your approval and soon you will look in the mirror and wonder who is looking back at you. As a fellow diabetic your A1c should take a nose dive within three or four months if not sooner. I went from a 9.9 punching in the insulin and it not doing a darn thing but make me late for things to do. Now my last one was 6.8 and that with three months of no insulin or anything. I figure another twenty pounds and I should be under 6 and really cool with that. We now officially have a place on the bench with the rest of us shrinkers..

AWWWW how sweet   OMG 6.8 is awesome!!! It seems so surreal that not long from now, God willing,  I will be like I've wanted to be for 20 years. Healthy, very active, feeling pretty. And with this tool, my family,  and friends like you all here on this forum,  by George! I can do it. So yeah! Move it on over buster. I'm ready to shrink

In August of 2006, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with an HbA1C of 9.7! I nearly died!!! Figuratively speaking because I thought if I didn't get this under control I would die literally. At any rate, I was off all my diabetic meds within weeks and my last HbA1C was 5.3... You've got a lot of good things to look forward to my friend. I have to tell you that if the ONLY benefit to my RNY was the resolution of my diabetes, I would have been so grateful and considered it such an incredible success. The fact that I have experience so many other health benefits and  soooo many quality of life improvements is fabulous. The size 4/6 from a 22/24 is just the proverbrial cherry on top... and now life thin is like a bowl of cherries!

I am really looking forward to your experiencing all of these wonderful things yourself!

All the best,

Barbara
