OMG 6.8 is awesome!!! It seems so surreal that not long from now, God willing, I will be like I've wanted to be for 20 years. Healthy, very active, feeling pretty. And with this tool, my family, and friends like you all here on this forum, by George! I can do it. So yeah! Move it on over buster. I'm ready to shrink

In August of 2006, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with an HbA1C of 9.7! I nearly died!!! Figuratively speaking because I thought if I didn't get this under control I would die literally. At any rate, I was off all my diabetic meds within weeks and my last HbA1C was 5.3... You've got a lot of good things to look forward to my friend. I have to tell you that if the ONLY benefit to my RNY was the resolution of my diabetes, I would have been so grateful and considered it such an incredible success. The fact that I have experience so many other health benefits and soooo many quality of life improvements is fabulous. The size 4/6 from a 22/24 is just the proverbrial cherry on top... and now life thin is like a bowl of cherries!
I am really looking forward to your experiencing all of these wonderful things yourself!
All the best,
Barbara
