Surgery is one week from today  Lots of different emotions. I go for pre-op tomorrow.   Does the doctor ever prescribe nerve meds before surgery?

 Lisa, I am so excited for you!!! They may prescirbe them, my PCP gave them to me and I have been using them as needed. AMber said it was a good idea.
You need to email me your info so when I come up for my pre op I can come see you.

I may call her tomorrow for an appt.  The surgeon didn't give me a prescription but the psychologist told me to ask my PCP.  All of my pre-op tests went well today.  Hope yours do too; I'm sure they will.

Yes if you ask them they will, I was good up until the day of surgery then on the day I needed something to calm my nerves and he was happy to do it........
Congrats , I am so happy for you one week to go and I know you will do great.

You will be fine!  Just remember to get all your Post Op "food" together before you go to the hospital. Make sure to stock up on Sugar Free Popsicles. I like the tropical !  Be prepared to be very sore and to take it easy!!!!

Thanks, Phyllis.  I have all of my post surgery nutrients from Bariatric Advantage.  I hadn't even thought about food.  What type of food should I plan on right after surgery?  I'm sure it is in my notebook.
