My husband and I are pregnant! We are due July 1st!
It has been a crazy couple of years with sickness and fertility issues, but finally it has happened. Those of you who know me know this was our big wish, and I just wanted to take a moment to share the news of our miracle. :)

Hello all,
I bet you are just swamped with things to do today. Today I am still struggling with school work and packing. Tomorrow we head up to VA for a couple of days. We both need to get away for awhile. My cousin has promised to help me with Excel. She uses it daily. Yippee. I am slowly feeling like I know something.

Hey all,
Went to a holiday party last night and met some great people. You know what, I really think I am happy to be back in NC. I know that I fit somewhere in the scheme of things. However, part of me can be very lazy and tend to hibernate. Anyway, today I have to get through this issue I am having with Word. Funny, I am in Adv. Excel working out a Word issue. Go figure. I want to get Level 11 out of the way this week. So that is my plan for today.

Hi all,
Well I finished Level 10 and got stuck on part of a Word document on Level 11. This and the next Level are all Excel and Vista. Then I get into Powerpoint. My hubby comes in last night yelling because he locked his keys in the car and since I didn't hear the phone, he broke a window. I asked him if he called Geico and of course not. His temper is nasty sometimes. So, I am sure I will hear about it today. Last time this happened it was locking himself out of the apartment so he broke down the door. Oh well..
Today I'm not sure what I will do. Going to a holiday party tonight. I hope I can make some bookings. Getting weird job hits. Mostly from folks with questionable businesses. Anyway, have a good day all.

Well, didn't get everything done yesterday. Went to Job Club and found out about a possible job opeing up in January. I have to tweak my resume again so I have an appointment for that on the 3rd. It is a six month job with a possibility of an extension. I'm not sure of all the details but we shall see.
Today I have to finish Level 10. I am a few days behind on my goal.
What are you all up to?

Did I totally space yesterday? Hmmm, well, sorry about that. Today is Job Club at the Voc. Rehab office. Have been getting the usual sales and marketing invites. I a must not into that. Applied for several jobs on Monday. A few sounded really good. I also applied to another security company. I have done this before so we shall see.

Topic: Support Group Tues Evening 6:30pm
The Over 50 Group
The focus of this Get Together will be the to provide support for those who have or have had a BMI Over 50. While anyone is welcome to join this event, please know that the focus of the discussion at this meeting will deal with the issues and concerns common to those start with higher starting BMIs, such as
- significant excess skin issues,
- 'the loonnngggg' road home,
- how much weight can you expect to lose when you start with a very high BMI?
- etc...
That said, I think you will find that there are many issues that are common to all WLS patients, so please feel free to join us.

Today was a full day! Went to the flea market at the fairgrounds, lunch at Panera, braved Target for a last minute present that was on sale and then went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie.
Best part of the day? Did it all with my wonderful husband!
He was funny though. Because of the crowds he kept saying he would park further out so we didn't spend a long time looking for a closer parking space. Then he would look at me like he was expecting an objection. I had to tell him a couple times that I have NO problem walking and actually prefer it!!
