Hey all,

Did you lose power this morning?  It is amazing how quiet it is when the power goes out.  It is very loud lol.  Does anyone know why that happened?

Well, today is doing financial spreadsheets for the kids.  They don't believe we are having this hard of a time.  They think we are wasting all our money.  Proof is in the pudding.

Anyway, have a good day all.

Wow.....this couldn't come at a better time for me ~ honest!  I hope to be able to do the thigh lift in the future, too.......you're absolutely right.....plastic surgery ain't cheap!  I figure that I'm going to be about the price of a new car, but I'm worth it!

Thanks so much for your advice, too.  I don't have a shower nozzle like you do.....should be interesting, to say the least!

I'll keep you posted......hope you can keep me posted, too!

Take care, and Happy Holidays!

Good luck to you! I want to go back for a thigh lift, maybe breasts and I am still on the fence about arms.
The yoga pants are definately a savior... I had to start sleeping in pairs of them.. basically because they dont have the elastic waste and are very comfy/stretchy. I had to go buy a large, also had to go buy large panties.. I was wearing a medium in both. I also wear a tank top under the binder which was helping... glad its a cooler time of year because its a lot of layers... gets hot sometimes!
I have a shower with a removeable handle as well, that was most helpful so I could sit in the tub and take a shower... I was very hunched over the first two weeks of surgery and standing to take a shower wasnt comfortable at all... cant take a bath until the incisions heal so it was a good compromise.

Hi, Jennifer!

Your post couldn't have come at a better time for me ~ I'm having plastic surgery this Friday!  I am having 3 procedures:  torsoplasty, brachioplasty, and mastopexy.  I'm sure that I'll be pretty sore for a while, but am excited about the way I'll look post-op, and down the road.

What you wrote was really helpful, too, about the clothing.  I'm a nurse, and am hoping to return to work after New Year's, so it's great to hear about what type of clothes I may be able to wear at three weeks out.  Good thing I still have plenty of "granny panties", too!  hahaha

Hope you continue to heal well, and thanks again for your extremely timely post!!!

Three weeks ago Monday I had an extended tummy tuck (no muscle repair) lipo and fat injections into my buttox. Everything has been going much better than I could have ever imagined. They removed almost 5lbs of skin... at 3 weeks post-op I still have swelling but the scale has gone down around 2-3lbs so far... but amazingly enough my inches are the same (Dr said it will take 2-3 months for most swelling to go down). I had to go buy bigger panties (lol) and I cannot wear my pre-op pants... stuck wearing yoga pants for now... am close to being able to fit so I am hoping by the holiday time I can wear 'normal' pants. I havent gotten back to any form of exercise but am hoping to start walking some this weekend, I have to keep it low key for at least 6 weeks.
Its strange to look down and see everything so flat... its also strange to have a butt... I am looking forward to going shopping and wearing some different styles I would *never* wear before. Im also already thinking about having some more procedures... now that my stomach looks good other areas that I thought wernt so bad before look wrose... am hoping to have another procedure next year, well see. I have to pay for everything out of pocket and as anybody knows who has looking into PS it isnt cheap!

All groups are open to anybody regardless of where they had surgery, there are a lot so it depends on what area of Charlotte you are in.

Topic: WARM Wednesday Roll Call
Hi all,

Wow, how much longer are we going to enjoy this nice weather.  Yikes, scary looking at all the weather going on in the country.  At least TX is finally getting some moisture!

Well went to Dress for Success yesterday.  They gave me a nice interview outfit.  The pants are form fitting and a little tight in the waist.  I also had a revamp on my resume.  Since May, I have applied for 70 jobs.  Interestingly, in PA where I lived, you may find a handful on the job boards.  Weird.

Oh! I got a 100% on my Intermediate Excel skills test!!  Yippeeeee! SO now I have to complete Level 10.

Hope you have an awesome day all!
