Topic: Cielle out of Surgery
Got this email from Cielle's hubby:
CL had her surgery today. She's sore- her arm hurts from shifting of internal gasses (kinda like the bends), but she's in good spirits, and the hospital staff are taking great care of her. I believe she'll be out tomorrow (today).
She asked me to tell you so that it could be posted to the boards.
Let me know if you need more info.

I take others experiences and use them as informational for my self. I do feel very comfortable with Dr Noyan and know that there are risks with every kind of surgery. I cant wait for that meeting in December and look forward to listening to everything and will be taking notes. I dont believe anyone can be too informed. Thank you all for your replies, I really do appreciate them.

I agree with Jeepers, you need to form your own opinions, for every horror story you hear, there are hundreds that go without a hitch. We just need to feel comfortable with our doctors and most of all put yourself in Gods hands, I always believed that if he takes you to it, he will get you thru anything.

Topic: OT: South, South Jersey info needed! (Salem County)
Hi Everyone, I need some info on Salem County.... waaayyyyy South Jersey! It's so different down there from my beloved Teaneck/Paramus area. Where the heck are the grocery stores, diners, coffee houses, movie theatres? What do people do down there at night? (OK, except for the obvious) LOL I can't walk a mile and be anywhere....everything is a 25 minute DRIVE!
I can't find a grocery store, except for an Acme about 20 minutes away in Salem..... (I've been staying in Canton) There's no Wegmans, Traders Joes, Whole Foods, etc.... The Wallmart here doesn't have a produce, meat or bakery department. Are there any locals who can direct me to FOOD??????
I feel like I'm visiting Oklahoma each weekend, instead of NJ!!! Can someone help???

Adam so sorry you went through what you did.
I personally had a great experience and still continue to. I know I've been to doctor's that other have said were bad and vice versa I know you had a very bad experience so I'm not taking that away.
I think we all have to do our homework and talk to our doctors and form our own opinion.

I hope you can make it on December 16th, we are going to have a fashion show with before and after pictures from patients that are a year out or more. They are going to have refreshments also so you will get an idea what you will be able to eat and drink. Also a few patients are going to speak about thier expierences.

Cielle: We met at one of the NJIGT dinners. I didn't get to spend too much time talking to you, but I remember your lovely smile. You seemed like a very warm person, and I'm so excited for you. You are about to experience the ride of a lifetime.
