I did mine with Atlantic Sleep Apnea and they send the 'kit' home with you.  You put a clip on your finger (like they do in the hospital) and it attaches to a little box (about the size of a pack of cigarettes).  I think that is all there was to it, but I had it done AGES ago now so I might be forgetting a part...  anyway, it's nothing invasive, painful or scary at all - you put it on before you go to sleep and return it to them in the morning - really no biggie  :)

BTW, I had severe sleep apnea (I stopped breathing once every MINUTE) and the pressure on my C-Pap was in the 20's - it's all in the normal range now, though I do still need to use the C-Pap - hopefully not for much longer though  :)  Hope this helps!

I don't know anything about it. But I do know that the team do ask if you have sleep apnea. Not sure if it is good to have it or not. just seemed that they take people with it quicker, just my thought tho.

I was wondering when everyone tried ground beef? I hear from some that red meat doesnt sit too well with some people. I am only the puree/mush stage but was wondering if i could have a little bit and chew the heck out of it or put it in the blender? Also does anyone know when we are allowed bananas?

what do you wanna be when you grow up little girl? i wanna be a loser and sit on the bench sir! (45 lbs lost pre op) 300lbs starting weight, currently 141lbs! Lowest has been 135lbs and hoping to get back to that.

Topic: RE: Start mushies tomorrow but still nauseated
Yeah started those last Sunday. Grounded up some turkey and ate some potato with sour cream/cheese. I dont know what else to try really cause i dont think chili would sit too well with my stomach yet (the spice bugged me before surgery), refried beans i bought but havent tried yet as they might be too gassy (i have IBS) and i dont know if i like ricotta cheese to try the bake cause i never tried it before.lol

I am really having a hard time meeting my protein needs lately or even my fluid intake. I feel so full from eating the one ounce of food three times a day nothing else really wants to go in.

Did you start mushies yet or are you staying with the liquid for a while longer?
