School..

I'm starting to wonder if this schooling is worth it and if when I get done that I'll make a good RN... I guess its freshman anxiety all over again. Did any one else have a difficult time with Anatomy & Physiology?

Hi Meagan, Fear not A&P IS hard, it is not just you. If it was not hard I would be concerned. It is a core building block so please study hard. Flash cards and study groups always helped me.I new a few students who found it hard so they only took A&P and maybe one other class such as Art/PE in order to focus on the class and lab. Feelings of concern is normal I am sure you will make a great RN Ann

Stuff like this usually comes easy for me...and i am studying for it hard... maybe too hard? I have A & P Lecture on Tues/Thurs, A & P Lab on Mon & Wed, Eng I on tues/thurs and then a self paced course... but i have to do this if i want to get into the actual program next year... Doesnt help i BOMBED my first test

Hang in there Kiddo, A&P was the hardest for me too....and If I made it, anybody can. Get a good grasp of it cos you will always need it! Take Care.

I have to retake A and P 2 just the class got a 69.5% and needed a %70. I got an A in lab class the lecture was taught by the head of the IU Medical Dept or something he was HARD our grade was based on 4 tests nothing else! ~megan~

Hi Meagan, Yes, I did have a difficult time. I barely passed with a C. I think the teacher felt sorry for me. I won't be that lucky this time. I am going to a different school with a different teacher. BTW I took A & P the first time in 1993. Maybe I can still remember what the Kreb's cycle is and that sodium-potassium gate thingee is.
