RN Salaries?

Well I'm an associate degree nurse and Ive been a nurse 2 1/2 years and I made 57k last year. Most of my friends are nurses and the one that has an associates degree works in ICU and made 93K!!!! Our friend that has a BSN doesn't make anymore, she's just eligible for more management positions! Of course by going to a four year college her loans are almost 10x what I owed.

Hi Norma, I am in Alabama and I know the wages aren't as good for nursing as in California. I work Baylor (2 12 hour shifts, weekends) I made a little over $50,000. last year just working 2 days a week. Pretty good I think. I have a friend who does travel nursing in California and makes more than I do. Hope I helped in some way. Beth G, RN. Alabama
