insurance
I am haveing such a hard time with this insurance ( Blue Choice Option) I have almost got all 5 years of weights in writing and also my drs recomendations for treatment of my PCOS that they have asked for I am just kinda confused and scared that I wasn't morbibly obese in 2001 and 2002 I was only considered obese . Does anyone know if that is gonna make a difference? I hope not because this would be my 3rd denial and I can't take another downfall . I'm already stressed because I am not working and i'm haveing such a tough time finding a job and all I see is there looking at my size and think I wouldn't work well due to my size. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! Don't be confused or scared, find out the facts, they can help you fight and WIN what you need!!!! We will gladly support you!
1>What is the 'rationale' for the denial? (reasoning on ins co).
2>Do you have a copy of the policy (You should and are entitled so ask for it)
3>Are you working with your bariatric surgeon on these appeals?
4>Is it that you rpolicy EXCLUDED WLS or are there requirements your not meeting?
5>NOW/TODAY matters for qualifying for surgery (HT WT BMI CO MORBIDITIES) not in 2001/2 etc.....
Is it that they need a 6-12 month medically supervised diet? Some of the blues (and other ins companies) need this and it seems that is something subscribers have to do/prive no ifs/ands/buts...Or is it the surgeon they are denying or the surgery type?

Be well....
