Update on Ilyssa Jane

Thank you everyone for your kind works and concerns about Ilyssa some of you really went the extra mile in making her happy and you know who you are!!! So she got scoped and it was ok. Now she is drinking nasty stuff for her colonoscopy, sounds like fun. If they do not find anything in that end (LOL) they will do exploritory surgery on her next wednesday. She is still in the hospital and hopefully going home tomorrow night. She has not eaten since yesterday at 10 pm (diced peaches, ohh how exciting!!!). So keep her in your thoughts!!!! Ilysssa and I had surgery 1 day apart and we have been on the same losing streak. It seems that we are now on the same line with complications. I got my blood work done and my liver engymes were elevate to 208!!!! You no what that means..... bye bye gallblader.. tons of gallstones!!! Hopefully ilyssa and I will get better together.... thanks for the update and i know you will be fine i had mine taken out 15 years ago and they didnt do the lap then i have the huge scar to prove it lol, at least now they do it the small way lol but good luck and let us know when they will do you surgery hugs lisa

Hi thanks for the update Ilyssa has been on my mind i hope they find out whats going on soon it all must be driving her crazy! sorry to hear about your g/b From what i hear it's not a bad surgery you'll recover pretty fast. well i'll keep you both in my prayers!! I feel so terrible for her. She is just lying around w/nothing to do. Lord do I know how that feels. She is just too funny though. She inhaled those peaches like I never saw someone eat! Ha. She said quite a few times that she was DYING for some cottage cheese. I was thinking of bringing her some today but I dont know how she feels. I hope her tushy isnt too sore. What time did they do her test? Sorry to hear about the gallbladder. Its best it comes out now before you start getting those horrible pains from it. They seriously are the WORST. I rather have five more surgeries than deal w/those pains again! Be gone gallbladder! Good luck!

Hey tavia, Thanks again for going to visit Ilyssa. I wish I could go visit but its a 10 hour ride to NY and Im not in the mood for that one. She just started liking cottage cheese. I saw super EWWW to that. I could never get myself to eat it, the texture just grosses me out. At least she found something new that she enjoys. Not sure what time her test is. I would imagine its going on now since when I call her room she does not anwser. I will call again soon and upadate later. As for the gallbladder I BEGGED AND BEGGED to get it removed and he said no cant take out a heatlhy organ!! So at least like you said I am not in any pain that I am aware of. I will be haveing my surgery on June27 and hopefully will be all better by the following week. I hope all is well with you. Hope you have been feeling a little better. I'm pleased to hear she is ok! I tried calling her today to she how she was doing and no answer. I also emailed her earlier and I just now got her reply! I'd go visit her but I don't know if she is up to it? Maybe I'll just send along some flowers! God Bless My Angel! Kenny
