Carol, Hun all i know that should not be taken together is your iron and calcium, i leave about 1-2 hrs between my calcium and multi so help. I am not sure if that will help you hun but that is what I do with the Iron and Calcium.. I am sure others will have much more to add to this post... Take care Debra P

Hi Carolee! Debra's right about spacing iron and calcium. There's probably Iron in your mulitvitamin, so if you take that in the morn, and take calcium at later times, I think that would work well. I have all day (between sips) to sit around and space my mulitvit and calcium! What a life! xoxo Amy

Yes you need to space the iron and calcium. I take the iron first thing when i wake in the am with a little sip of OJ....Then later on about 9ish my multi vitamin, then about 2 my calcium then again about 6 my calcium again and then at bedtime my other multivitamin. I take vit b 12 also but just 3 times a week. Something like that. LOL

Hey carolee, Lets see, I take calcium and a 2 chewable multi's with breakfast. I take 2 more calcium and the last multi with a mid morning snack (about 2 to 3 hours later), and i take the last of my calcium with lunch. So i am done with my suppliments by 1 or 2 oclock everyday. This just works for me, i should probably move the snack calcium to dinner, but i'll wait till i get my labs back. As for B-12 i pop a sublingual whenever i get the inclination, about two or three times a week. I find they do help boost energy. BTW i also drink a meal replacement drink or eat a protein bar almost everyday, and they tend to have a lot of vits. in them too. Although i dont' count them towards my totals. Scott PS my multi has no iron, it's made by bariatric advantage, it's made specifically for RNY and DS patients.

Repeat with lunch another multi and then calcium about an hour later Zinc sulfate at around 4 with my snack another calcium chewable with dinner - usually with a fish oil 1000 mg capsule B12 before bed. Hi Carol... Yes I'm back. Had a great time. Anyway, at 2 1/2 years out, this is what I do. When I get up in the morning around 6AM I take a Centrum and two 65 mg iron tablets. Between 3 and 5 in the afternoon I take 630 mg of calcium citrate with vitamin D and I take sublingual B12 three times a week. This has been working really well for me. My bloodwork has always come back great and I donate blood every 3 months. Hope this helps. You may have to make some adjustments depending on how your bloodwork looks. Hope you're feeling great and losing, losing, losing. Joanne
