Hiya friends, Tomorrow makes 2 weeks since my surgery. Hard for me to believe, it feels like yesterday. The best part about tomorrow is that I advance from a clear liquid diet to a pureed diet...I am relishing each thimble-sized meal of protein packed power like a newly discovered gem. I have had the energy level of a doorknob since I've been home, and I'm hoping that beyond the pure joy of texture, flavor, and substance, that my new mini dose of nutrition will boost my energy level a bit. I "get" the whole virtue of clear liquids and healing yadda yadda, but bring on the cream of chicken soup (made with skim milk, of course)! Yahoo! Hugs to everyone, Amy

Hey Viv, This surgery forcefully reminds me to take stock in every darned thing that goes into my mouth. Thimble fulla just about anything would go down better than jello..... Amy

Hi Tavia, I have actually tried a version of your ricotta, only cold, with cinnamon, splenda, and nutmeg, with a dallop of sf cool whip (prior to surgery), which was out of this world, so I'm lookin' forward to some toasty ricotta now too! Ah, simple pleasures... Hugs, aim

Hey Amy! You are right on track ...keep up the great work and attitude! I still eat the little meals once in a while. I think it's good to eat small as long as all of the protein is taken in each day. Congratulations on your graduation to pureed! Take Care Linda M.

Thanks Linda. I'm hoping the added protein in my diet helps increase my energy level which is rediculously low now! Looking forward to regaining my fortitude! Hope all is well in your world! Hugs, Amy
