Hey Lis, Very reassuring to hear that the low energy is par for the course. It's SO unlike me and it's hard to get used to. Thanks for your input. Hope all is well with you. Hugs back, Amy

Hey Jaim, Are shakes considered liquid or a meal? I can only get so much in a day...don't know how to count the protein shakes! xoxo Amy

Amy, YEAH onto the next phase... Now being creative comes into play, very exciting and scary as well because now you will see what your pouch likes and does not like. You know one thing that found to be awesome tasting at that time is f/f refried beans with melted schredded light chedar cheese. YUMMMM I NEVER liked refried beans before surgery but the taste was just so awesome after. Just some info..... ~Hugs~ Glad you are doing good hun and love your positive way. Debra P

Hi Deb, I am very excited to try refried beans, but I'm heading into it slowly, If I do ok with less gassy mush first, I'll try it soon. I have two cans in the cupboard just beaming at me!! Hugs back, Amy

One thing that I learned though was that just because something will agree with the new pouch one time, it doesn't mean that it will always be that way ! Be prepared for that ! Congrats on getting to the next stage !!

Yes Terri, I've heard that! I am taking it slow....eating one little biteful every couple of minutes to test for that very response. I was always quite fearful of vomiting, and even moreso now with my new sensitive pouchy. Thanks for the heads up! Amy
