Hello Everyone I just got back from my three month check up with my surgeon. I am glad I went although I was embarassed and ashamed because I went knowing that I would have a weight gain, and gain I did---12 lbs. Now I have to get back on the wagon and no more cheating. I am in the process of undergoing insurance approval for a TT and should know if it is a go or not within a week or so. The Dr wants me to try and lose these nasty pounds I gained before surgery and has put me on a 1000 calorie a day limit, and no more than 4-5 oz at each meal. Now my question is this...It has been almost two years since I had my RNY so I need help with planning my daily meals. Please give me LOTS of suggestions as to what I can eat to get back on the THIN path. I have another appointment with him next month to see how I am doing. I am actually glad he came down hard on me because I knew I needed to do this but just needed a good swift kick in my Asssss. Thanks guys for being here for me not only for suggestions but as my support! You all ROCK! Hugs

Hi MF I believe that reading MsMoozy's "what did you eat" posts will give you lots of food ideas. There are people anywhere from 1 month out to over 2 years. I get lots of ideas from this post. Good luck with your TT!!! I need it as well but my insurance won't even consider it. Linda M

Hey M/f, Susan maria of bariatriceatting.com says the same thing over and over again to her clients (on her web site). Always go back to the basic, protein, water, complex carbs. You might want to check out her site i thought it was informative. scott

Hi , I know it is hard --but you need to dig out those old phase one, two, three and four eating rules. May I suggest that you go on a liquid fiet for a week and then slowly return to eating solid foods--you probably need to shrink you pouch. I know that this is possible because I have a friend who just had surgery--and because it was necessary to have a strict liquid diet for a week --she is back to eating the way that she was right after surgery. So high protein, liquids will do it for you! lots of water, your vitamins and exercise --will knock those nasty pounds off ! Take care and Be blessed--you can do it! Hi, I see you have NYSHIP too. I am curious to know if you get the approval for the TT. I have it too. My surgeon told me she'd talk to me down the road about a TT. I have at least another 57 pounds to lose. Good luck with losing the weight! I find the what did you eat threads helpful too! Kristine
