How about a Regional Conference in CNY

Hi Judy, I was just down your way not too long ago. We are just trying to see who would be interested in a Regional Conference. Syracuse is just very central to all of NY and this is the reason we are asking aobut Syracuse. Traveling is difficult for some people whether it's 1 hour or 8 hours. Silver Spring MD is quite a distance and perhaps one of the other regional conferences or the national one would work better for you. Nothing is written in stone yet, we are just putting out feelers to see if we could get enough interest to host one in Syracuse. Thanks for your input. Debra

Hi Deb & all *****sponded Great responses from everyone. I know that these conferences are always easier to attend when they're close to home. However, personally, I would drive 8 + hours again to attend this informational Conference. OH is very good with spreading out their conferences across the US, so to find one closer to you shouldn't be a issue. I think one in CNY would benefit so many of the Upstate NY'ers (close to the Canadian border) that normally have to drive 3 hours just to see their Dr. It would really give them a break in traveling, and offer an opportunity for them that they usually do not get. You know I'm right there with you, Deb, in the planning phase of this. Tammy
