FREEDOM!

Hellooo! I'm free! I smell fresh air! They wanted to keep me there but I said I can do the PICC line insertion outpatient which he agreed to do only if I promised to do the toast test now. So I have to go next Monday to see the surgical nutritionist doctor to get the PICC line put in and get my nutrition feedings in order. He said I can stay at home and do it only if I promise to do it and I cant hide from him anymore. Then next Thursday I have to go to radiology to take the toast test again to he can see whats happening. Oh well, it isn't going to be fun having a feeding line stuck in me but I have to do what I have to do! I am beyond tired but happy I dont have to stay inpatient that is for sure! I am going to take my pain meds and GO TO SLEEP!! Yipee! ps. I went looking for you Ilyssa! They told me you were in 7tower, I went there. They told me you were on 3tower, I went there. They told me you just left and were probably in the lobby waiting for your ride and you werent there. Doh, doh and another doh. HOW ARE YOU FEELING?!?!? God bless the gellgod is all I have to say! I glad Dr. Gellgod agreed to let you go home. Are Gellgod and the gastro guy going to be there for the toast test or are you going to have wait for the results? I really hope they figure out what the problem is, so you can get on with your life. You know we're all praying for you. Joanne

Hey you, Yeap, he will be there. He already knows what my problem is, he just needs to diagnostically confirm it again. It is just a matter of what can be done surgically to help this functional problem to the best it can be. He told me a few options of what can be done. It is a matter of which option to go with, so we just need to see if the function of my roux limb (if it's worse or better) to decide which option is best. We will see on Thursday, what fun! Thanks!! Hey Tavia, Glad that they set you free!!!! Hope that you are feeling better today. Hopefully they will figure out what is wrong with you soon. You cant run or hide from "Gellgod"!!
