Hi Sue, Hope all is well with your sister. I am glad to hear that you are not feeling overwhelmed by the oncoming surgery. There is no place for that feeling. I'm also glad to hear that you've gotten a lot of support from your support group. That is awesome! I wish I could be your bypass support buddy, but I'm not healed up enough to drive yet!! You commented that it was reassuring that this phase wouldn't last forever. Well that is up for debate. It may not relly last forever, but it can sneak up on you at the darnest times. I will be 3 years post op on July 11th and I just had one of my worst dealings with this issue last Friday night. Over some bar-b-que sauce(about 1/4 tsp) and I have had this same stuff many times before. I had an instance last year in the middle of Disney's Ecpcot. Boy that was the pitts.
