Hi everybody, I told you all about my bad tunafish experience and now I'm feeling a little gunshy about trying new protein. I'm looking for good ideas for soft, gentle protein recipes that are easy on a new pouchy. I'm good with ricotta/cottage cheese, yogurt, tofu, and cream of wheat...and scared of anything else! Any good ideas? Thanks much, Amy

Amy have you tried the stallon puddigs? I love the banana cream. Also i know you are early out but i tried scrambled eggs early with cheese and did fine right from the start. Some people have a hard time with eggs but i never did. I alway ate and still do eat tofu, extra firm noysoya brand cold not cooked. I love that. Also half a banana with peanut butter on it. When i was very early out i used no sugar added applesauce with peanut butter in it too. LisaMarie

Hi LisaMarie, thanks....I will try eggs tomorrow. . The banana and peanut butter sounds easy too. I've been living on tofu, thank god for tofu!!! I'm so sick of sweet stuff from the sf jello, crystal light, sf yogurt...I need to take a break from stuff like pudding for a while! Thank you for your ideas! Hugs, Amy

Hummus sounds great! It doesn't make you gassy? How far out are you Kristine? Amy

I'm almost 4 months out. I'd say when I was where you were, I was so gassy no matter what I ate, that any bean product could not worsen the level of gas I had-LOL. It finally subsided after awhile though Kristine

Amy, what about things like: Cottage cheese with a little mushed up fruit? Oh yeah and those f/f refried beans. I really liked pureed seafood with light mayo and celery.... Ok that is just some idea, hoping it helped some.... Debra P
