It is over with!

Hi all! Well it is all over and done with which is the good news. They videorecorded the upper gi so they could review it in real time rather than just on the x-rays (and also so I dont have to repeat it again). I think he just wants to watch it like he is at the movies and eat popcorn. Oh lordy, what a stomachache. I ate a few bites of a roll instead of toast. It was quite yummy b/c I have forgotten what food tastes like. It is beyond embarrassing getting such a stomachache in front of these people and poopyheads in training. Whatever though. I really dont feel well, my whole GI system is on gag mode right now . I think I will call the office and ask for some pain meds or whatever so I dont end up back over there.

Tavia, Hun I am glad the test is over with....sorry you had to go through that again! Maybe now they can watch it and see what is really going on inside your tummy. OK for you only..... Whewwww ok now I am out of breath... Take care hun and i wish you well. Debra P

Hey you! When is the gallbladder coming out and how is going to do it??? Can you image if I told him I want my own room over here, let alone decorated? They will defintely think I have lost it...which I have but that is besides the point!! Feel good!!!

Hey Tavi, The Gall Bladder comes out on June 27th. I have no pain what so ever, I did not even know that there was a problem just went for normal bloods and boom there it was!!! I will be back in NY so I am having Gadaleta do it. He is the only surgeon I trust (well the only one I have ever been to but I have had no problems, Knock on wood). Maybe we all can get together and go out for a bite! Let me know if thats good for you. I know that you have met some peeps on the board so maybe we can have like a small social or something.... Im glad to hear that they kinda know whats wrong with you but what is the next step and how does it affect you? Hope you have an AWESOME WEEKEND!!! Stacey

Whats her face in the office takes too long to call me back, so I just paged their NP in the hospital. She is always quick to call back...not like grouchy face. What did they find? Stasis, stasis and more stasis of the limb!!! He said he is going to look at the tape a few more times, show it to his partner and then figure out a plan. He says If I want to show it to someone else to get another opinion. I will be in the office 945am next friday to hear the plan of action. Let me know. All I have to say to all of this is "stupid!!"

Don't say it's stupid! Come on, be positive, they are going to fix you!!!!! Keep a clear head and stick to the ricotta cheese until they do fix you though !!!! BTW, I will be in there on Friday June 2nd at 10:30am!!!! See you there!!! Maybe we can share some cottage cheese while we wait for him Ilyssa

Oh boy! We can make a gellgod sandwich(pathetic). I will hang around if I dont see you before. I usually just head over there after I drop my son at the bus at 9 b/c I dont care. Ha.
