Aetna question!!!

I need help people. I have been denied because Aetna says that there is an exclusion on my plan. I spoke to HR and they said that they asked Aetna broker and he said they just don't do this surgery. I told HR that I was going to appeal because it is not true they have done this surgery under Access POS plan. I have the clinical policy from my job and it states that if it is medically necessary then it would be done. I need your answers if you have had this insurance and have not been denied. Millie, I have Aetna, and I got approved in 24 hours from the time they received my info. I just wanted to say that when I was at Dr. Roslin's office and they called to see what was what for my policy they apparently pulled up an old policy I had through an old job, and under that policy from the work they said I wasn't covered, that there was an exclusion. When they finally figured it all out and realized that now I had an INDIVIDUAL plan since I'm now a freelancer they had no choice. Point is that when they thought I was under a company plan they said I had an exclusion, but not individually. I just want to add that I wish you all the best, and that the fact they approved me within 24 hours says that the difference lies in the fact that your company must have that as exclusion on their policy they have with Aetna.
